Afghan Women March, America Turns Away
As CASC has stated many times these past difficult weeks, now is truly the time for the mission's backers to renew their commitment. Ambiguous statements and faltering support from some allies has left ordinary Afghans with fear about where their country is headed next. As Nader Nadery and Haseeb Humayoon write in the New York Times, as Afghan women march for their freedom, the world must not shrug and turn away.
