Books With Wings needs volunteers

Call for Volunteers in Specific Disciplines 
Books With Wings (http://bookswithwings.ca) has been sending up to date medical books to the medical schools of Afghanistan. We would like to expand to other disciplines, as the need for books in Afghan universities in all subjects is great. Examples of requests we have had from Afghanistan are:

Business
Computer Science
Dentistry
Education
Engineering
English
Mathematics
Midwifery
Public Health
Science

The volunteer work involves:

•     Making contact with colleagues in Afghanistan to assess the state of their libraries and needs

•     Finding sources of donated books (students, professors, professionals, publishers, libraries, bookstores, etc.)

•     Finding and organizing volunteers to label the books with Library of Congress catalog numbers, and to box and ship the books
